Article IX – Section 4
This makes the bylaw requirements conform to current practice.
Article VII – Section 9
This makes it clear that the board has control of the web site content. The web site committee operates under the instruction of the board.
Also, the maintenance of email addresses is moved from the web committee to the board secretary. See the post on Article VI, Section 5.
Article VII – Section 7
This gives the nominating committee a more reasonable time requirement to do their job.
Article VII – Section 3e
This gives the Architectural Control Committee the authority they need to do their job.
Article VI – Section 1
This is just makes the wording more precise.
Article IV – Section 10
In the past, the secretary maintained the email list while the treasurer maintained the mailing list and monitored response to mailings. This change allows anyone to perform this function.
Article IV – Section 9
This change corrects an obvious omission.
Article IV – Section 7
In the past, board members have not been involved in vote counting. However, this is not required by the bylaws. This corrects the omission.
Also, we require a secret ballot, but our situation does not allow it. This change makes the situation clear.
Article III – Section 3
This change makes it clear that members must supply contact information to the association.
